that looked really odd to me at first cos in the UK you don't ever just clip the neck and head It's called a blanket clip, I do it beginning into spring so i can ease him into a full body clip so he doesnt suffer shock form being fully warm to freezing cold, He ripped his blanket last year so i dont have one this year for him. It's a very popular clip for minis :] as in the winter their heads tend to get to big/fuzzy for their teeny mini halters

wow I've never seen that kind of clip before
just out of curiosity, the point of clipping the (i'm tempted to say bridlepath, but it looks to be a bit long for a bridlepath?) highlights the neck? Or does the opposite?
I really have no idea of what the mini 'world' is like, so sorry for the questions...
do you show them? If so, are there different 'levels' of shows? (i.e "A" rated, or "B" rated)
sorry, grilling you a bit here, just curious

Cute. Interesting clip. I learned something new in why you do it. No one around here does anything like that.

I'm not positive about the Showing... But It is the Bridle path... Bridle paths in the Mini world are very long.

I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but it bugs me to the extreme when people clip horses. xD I had a Shetland once who was the size of a mini. He wore a mini halter. He was always a woolly-booger in the winter (he passed away a couple years ago) but his halter fit. Always. It's better to buy an adjustable halter in my opinion.
