I'm pretty sure this should work for everyone! To take a screen shot, apparently you don't have to have any special program. I hadn't taken a screen shot in a while, so I forgot some parts of it, which my cousin helped me remember. So anyway, if you're on a laptop without an extra keyboard set up, sorry but this won't work for you. On your keyboard, in the row with all the F# keys, right after F12, there is a key labeled something like, "Print Screen." (I said "something like" because it can vary depending on the type/brand of keyboard you have.) Get the screen to the page you want to take a picture of, then click the Print Screen button. Then go to Paint. (Everyone should have Paint program.) Paste the picture in Paint, then resize it/crop it however you want. Save as a JPEG file. Then go to photobucket, imageshack, or whatever you use, to upload the picture. Voila! You will be provided with the links for posting the picture wherever you want when you upload it. Questions? Comments? Post!

I can take screenshots perfectly fine on my laptop. :3
And honestly, you should not save it as a JPEG file if you are using paint. That ruins the quality. Always save the image as PNG if you are using paint.

Also, CTRL+ALT+PRT SCRN for the window that is opened and CTRL+PRT SCRN for the whole view on your computer screen. And then just open up a program, I'll say MS paint and press paste under edit.

Actually this method doesn't work on Mac computers, so I usually use Grab, which is an application pre-installed on Macs. Just get it from Applications, then click Capture after you start it up.
