Name: RiskyBusiness
Julia In Real Life
Server: Brown. I've considered going to another before, but I love the horses I have on Brown too much for that.
QP%: 68%, but actually doing quests as I type. ahaha.
Why am I Applying: I think it'd be a fun thing to do, to be able to help. I'm constantly going to look up extra hard quests, and know how helpful it is when there are detailed, easy to understand directions that help. It bothers me I can never thank the person though, and I figure this would be a way to give back what I've been given, if that makes any sense.
Other experiences: I have lots of experience with proboards, and have even created quite a few of my own in the past, which I've run, as well as co-run some others.
Extra Info:
*Easy going person, definitely. It takes a lot to get me mad, as I have a younger brother.
*I've played for about two and a half years combined. I had one account a few years ago, but I ended up deleting that one, as at that point in my life I was... transitioning through things, and had no time for the game. I made another, and then, just when my computer broke down, and I was computer-less for a month and a half, they made that 'log on once a month or lose your account' thing, and I lost it. I now have RiskyBusiness and try to be on at least once every weekend.
I'm used to dealing with younger kids, as I am the oldest child in my family, and have a younger brother.
Not sure how much this helps, but I write songs on occasion.
QUESTIONS:
Would you be able to help new players or forum posters with questions if they need help?
--------I definitely would. That's definitely a huge part of this, and personally, I like sharing what I know. Especially with people who want to learn.(:
How often did you ask for help, Did you do most of the quests solo or with help?
---------I do quite a bit of it solo. A couple I've asked for help with, most I never got help with. I've looked up things online a lot, but thats mostly for when I get super stuck, or for screenshots of the lava isle mazes and the like. I try to not look anything up unless I'm desperate, or running short on time.
Would you be able to write simple(or Advanced) guides for certain quests to help keep the site updated?
---------I could definitely handle simple, and probably intermediate, but I think I might have to grow into advanced just a little. I'm a fiction writer for fun in real life, and I've definitely learned how to be descriptive from that, but I've never tried writing a quest guide before. I've read enough that I think I could if I wanted to, though.
How often are you on-line and on Horse Isle (hours a week, Estimated?)
----------Weekdays are definitely a better shot. I've got school, a definite first priority. I try to get on the computer as soon as I get home for AT LEAST 45 minutes, until my brother gets home from school, and then do homework, but some days I can't, due to unexpected obstacles and the like. Weekends are worse though, my brother has an obsession with the computer, so I barely get it on the weekends, though each weekend I am on for at least an hour.
Are you a Subscriber?
-----------No, actually. I wish I was. My mother has this thing she does, though, where if we want something, we have to do chores for it, and I honestly think I'd do it once, and then forget to renew it or something... As well, I am so busy as it is, I'd never find time to make SURE I renewed it... It's on my to-do list.
How old are you?
------------Although I'm a freshman in high school, I am pretty young. I just turned 14 in September. I'm supposed to be 15 as a freshman, but since the cutoff date for school is September 8th, and my Birthday is the 21st, they let me in for some reason. Anywho, I'll be 15 next September, but I am VERY mature. I have immature moments, of course, but only with my true friends.
