My uncle owns and trains horses in real life. He's asked me to ride for him, but I had to turn him down. He used to be president of the Horse Congress, and is all over the Internet. It's so fun talking to him; we talk for hours at a time on horses alone. Just today, I read in a horse magazine that the whorl on a horse's head determines whether it's a righty or lefty. Cool, huh?

Yeah.. you didn't have mustangs... I like mustangs cause to em those are the best horses to train. In order to touch them, you have to gain there respect and trust. My friend went from a Belgian to a mustang and the mustang totally changed her life.
To me, The old lined arab[ Kellog and Crabbet-sp(queen of England arab stallion)] are the best ones in teh world. The new lined arabs dont have as much brains as these ones. Seems like teh HUGE hit with a pan in the face[the OMG HUMONGOUS DISH] lost some of their brains..lol. But i have me some really smart ones who represent the breed well, and then the stereotypical arabs. 1/2 the horses i train are arabs.. so i see a lot of them. I'll have to post some pictures of this arab stallion i work also.. Amazing lines. Which reminds me.. I have to break him in this year and show him.. Whoo. But, I love arabs. The first horse i ever rode was an arab, then a mustang who showed me everything. Sorry if any of you disagree. if this causes disputes or whatever.. I'll delete this post. This si not intended for that..

WashoeWinds i know what you mean bout the arabs. i live a 10min walk away from a HUGE studfarm and the dim ones seem to always have this big lump between their eyes which makes the dish look twice the size it should be. They also seem to run away from carrots which is just strange.
My fav breed in real life, hmmm... i chose mini cos that is the nearest thing to a shetland

My favorites are Quarter Horse and Paint Horse because thats what my horse Lil Bit is. Saddlebreds are good horses too we have Saddlebreds and they are all really good horses, Except Storm she's crazy.

It was horrible of you guys to make me choose, but I picked Thoroughbred. I think it's amazing how tall and muscular they are, and they're just plain beauties. They're amazing! But I LOVE miniatures! They're so cute, and the only time I REALLY got to work hands-on with horses was with a pair of miniatures at a local fair show. My father and I were riding down and say some early arrivers, a nice couple carrying a trailer of two miniatures from their ranch in Texas. They were just passing through, hoping to get some experience from their show on the way. Their miniatures had actually won national competitions, and I bonded with both of them. I got to do things like groom and bathe them, and helped harness one of them to their carts. And the most exciting part is, I got to drive one! It might not seem that big of a deal to many, but to me that was the coolest thing ever. I live in the city and love horses, so I don't get to do much with them. But they were in the newspaper and everything, I must have stolen my entire neighborhood's paper to cut the articles out and hang them on every wall of the house. Don't forget all sides of the fridge! 8P But also mustangs amaze me, I used to read a series of books on them, and the way you need to slowly work them into liking you, their wildness and sheer beauty.. I find it all amazing. And I love arabians high-strung attitude and the shape of their heads. It was hard, I kinda did eeny-meeny-miney-moe. o.o [whispers] I think I rambled a little bit. Oh well. xD

I wish I could pick two because then I would've choosen the Quarter Horse and Appaloosa. I have a horse which is Quarter Horse/Appaloosa. Quarter Horse tail but Appaloosa coat!
